Veral L. Hines 76, of Benton, passed away Monday, April 16, in Bryant. He was born August 4, 1935 in Thayer, Kansas. He worked for Santa, Fe Railroad for 40 ½ years as a railroad clerk. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hines of Benton, three sons; Wade (Kendra) Hines, Tracy Hines, Rueben Dilks, four daughters; Dianne (Greg) Liptak, Deborah (Jay) Gelnett, Sharon (Randy) Pearcy, Brenda (James) Stone, three brothers, and one sister, eleven grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 24 at 10:00 AM at Temple Missionary Baptist Church, graveside service at New Hope cemetery in Sheridan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House Fund, Bryant, AR. 72022. Services will be conducted by Rev. David Harries and Rev. Kim Hammer.
