Robert J. Jones, Sr.,“Bossman”, age 81, founder of R. J. “Bob” Jones, Inc., an excavating contractor went home April 29, 2012. He was born February 2, 1931, in Mabelvale, AR to Robert and Helen Jones.

He is survived by sons, Robert (Cindy) Jones and Barry (Judy) Jones and their mother, Nellie Jones; four grandchildren, Jacob (April) Jones, Clay (Shana) Jones, Whitney (Robert) Henry and Katie (Jonathan) Brown. He is also survived by his special friend, Sherry Reed and her daughter, Michele Perry and son, Tommy Reed and their families. He is survived by two brothers, Gerald (Carlotta) and Charles (Debra) Jones along with long-time friends of the Denton Deer Club.
