Marvin Caldwell 60 of Alexander passed away on August 22, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born on November 29, 1955 to Tommy and Joyce Caldwell in Wichita Falls, Texas. Marvin was a faithful member of New Life Baptist church where he served as a Deacon and proudly kept the grass mowed, and performed maintenance on the church. He enjoyed NASCAR, building model cars and race track sets, and taking care of his cats. Marvin was a painter for over 30 years with the Arkansas State Hospital and was actively enjoying retirement.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Wanda Caldwell; daughter, Marie Ashley (Jeff); parents, Tommy and Joyce Caldwell; two sisters, Linda Patterson (Bill) and Pam Zimmerman (Tim); brother, Stephen Caldwell (Ginger) and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 New Life Baptist Church 10765 Samples Road, Alexander. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 at the church. Arrangements provided by Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
