Albert "Al" Westbrook Jr. 70 of Benton passed away on October 2, 2013. He was born on July 22, 1943 to the late, Albert Sr. and Lucille Westbrook in Freeport, Texas. Al enjoyed going fishing and being a member at the Blue Rock Gun Club and the Benton Gun Club. He retired from Dallas Area Rapid Transit after 30 years. Albert was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War where he served with the 11th Armored Calvary.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lynda Westbrook; mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Charles Bowers; two cousins, Sandra Page and Linda Westbrook and a host of friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
