Alice "Punkin" Coleman 61 of Mabelvale went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on February 22, 1952 to the late, James and Allie Gilbert in Little Rock, Arkansas. Punkin enjoyed singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren and especially her doggy Sassy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, A. J. Gilbert and Otis Gilbert and two sisters, Elsie Strickland and Nancy Crews.
Punkin is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Larry Coleman; two daughters, Felecia Nowlin and Tammi King (Chris); three grandsons, Durand, Blake, Craig Lynn DePriest; four granddaughters, Allison, Krista, Emilee and Kendra King; four sisters, Mabel (Leroy), Ellen, Mildred (Ray) and Audurlene (George); brother, Windy (Laverne) and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
