Verlene Smith 70 of Mabelvale passed away on July 5, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on December 2, 1944 to the late, Alfred and Mary Lewis in White Hall, Arkansas. Verlene loved going to church, puzzles, gambling, going to yard sales, watching family feud and wheel of fortune with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, James Smith and grandchildren, Jacob Murray and Holly Smith.
Verlene is survived by her three daughters, Tresa Smith, Carol Lynne Murray (Dean) and Janie Elaine Smith; two sons, Tim Maxwell (Tina) and B.J. Smith (Heather); eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother, Lenard Lewis (Jill); sister, Earlene Denham and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with Rev. Danny Wilson and Rev. Elton Cole officiating.
