Alvin Lee Ramsey, 72, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in his home. He was born on Saturday, October 4, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Alvin A. and Ima Faye Ramsey.

Alvin was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend, who enjoyed time with his friends and family. He proudly worked for McConnell Heavy Hauling for 43 years until his retirement.  He loved to cook and was always quick witted and kept everyone laughing.

Alvin is survived by his four children, Christopher Ramsey of Little Rock, AR, Kim Nebling of Little Rock, AR (Todd), Christy Ramsey of Little Rock, AR, and Donnie Ramsey of Little Rock, AR (April); and grandchildren, Josh (33), Hallie Bennett (30) (Jordan), Austin Ramsey (28), Cody Ramsey (28), Brayden Fitts (25), Jackson Ramsey (22), Audrey Ramsey (18), Anna Johnson (18), Connor Johnson (14), and Grayson Ramsey (10). He was a proud father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family.

He is also survived by Joe Wesley Ramsey, granddaughter Katie Nicole Ramsey, and Jimmy Franklin & Vickey Ramsey along with their children, Jimmy and Jennifer, and their children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin A. and Ima Faye Ramsey, and his nephew, John Wesley Ramsey, all of Little Rock.

The memorial service will be on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm, at Martindale Baptist Church, 18900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas.
