Angela Ann Kriegbaum (Grinstead), 54, of Bryant, Arkansas was born on Tuesday, November 18th, 1969, in Malvern, Arkansas, and departed with her wings on Friday, February 16th, 2024. Despite numerous health challenges throughout her life, Angela remained a bright light of hope and creativity for those around her.

Angela is preceded in death by her mother, Elenore Gail Grinstead. She is survived by her three children, son, Kris Kriegbaum and daughters, Lily Cohrt and Jess Kriegbaum; her father, Ardyn Grinstead; two sisters, Trish Smith (Jim) and Debra Kennedy; two brothers, Tim Korwes (Misty) and Jeff Korwes (Stephanie); grandchildren, Rose Kriegbaum and Donny Kriegbaum; nephews, Brian Grinstead (Baleigh) and Andrew Prowse; and niece Sara Prowse.

Angela recently returned to her hometown of Bryant after she spent many, many years living on "her island" in Galveston, Texas. She often referred to this as her "Happy Place". For several years, Angela was an active supporter, organizer, and mentor for NAMI. She was active with her daughter Jess in the Girls Scouts where she ran a troop and helped sell countless amounts of Girl Scout cookies.  Angela loved with all her heart and was often generous with her talents to a fault. She could paint as beautifully as the best artist, created beautiful floral arrangements and could be crafty with three grains of rice and a nail. There was nothing she did not find purpose in. She was fond of beautiful flowers, was mesmerized by the sound of wind chimes and loved finding and restoring old model sail boats.

Not a Christmas or holiday went by that Angela did not snag one or all of her own children, grandchildren, or all of the children she could find in the neighborhood to bake cookies or make other delicious goodies. She loved spending time with all of the kids that could be left in her care to play games, do crafty projects, or just hang out and be silly. She loved doing yard work and didn't mind getting dirty as long as her nails were done. She loved anything sparkly and could often be found with glitter on her face. She was elegant and a lady and will be sincerely missed by all who knew her.

Angela's memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
