Mary Annabelle Burnett Powers, 95, of Little Rock died September 18, 2011. She was a retired school teacher and secretary, and an active member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Little Rock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Powers and her daughter, Patricia Powers-Evans.
Annabelle is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Rev. Bill and Nancy Burnett of Beebe and Mary Jo Burnett of Benton; children and children-in-law, Christine and David Harris of Little Rock, Jim and Lana Powers of North Little Rock, Jennifer Powers and Bob Irving of Little Rock, Gary Evans of Little Rock, Bruce and Caitlyn Powers of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren, Paul Harris and his wife Shannan of Little Rock, Beth Harris of Cincinnati, Ohio, Conor, Evan and Torin Powers of North Little Rock, Travis Evans of Fayetteville, Annabelle and Molly Rector of Little Rock, and Alle, Abby, Adair and Zachary Powers of Portland, Oregon, her great-grandchildren (Caleb, Kelsy, Mekenna, Kori and Maci) and many other friends and family who love and miss her dearly.
A private family graveside service will be held in Beebe. A public memorial service will be held at Oak Park Baptist Church (I-430 & Stagecoach Road) on Sunday evening, September 25 at 6:00 pm.
