Arthur Ray Gardner, 89 of Bauxite, Arkansas, left this earth on August 30, 2022. He was born on May 9, 1933, to Clete and Louise Gardner in Spearville Louisiana. Arthur was a retired army veteran and a heavy equipment operator.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clete and Louise Gardner; infant daughter, Kathy Gardner; one sister, Laverne Cook; two brothers, Huey and Rollis Gardner.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Gardner; four children, Judy Hammond of Bearden, Arkansas; Gary Gardner (Evelyn) of Bryant, Arkansas; Ricky Gardner (Charlotte) of Camden, Arkansas; Pam Brown (Danny) of Bearden, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be Friday, September 16,2022 at 11:00 A.M at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery
