Barbara Jo James of Little Rock, joined our loving Lord and Savior with our precious angle, Alvis Von James Jr., on June 24, 2015. Barbara Jo was a 1971 Graduate of Blytheville High School. She loved playing softball and bowling, it was her life. She also loved making jewelry, and sewing. Nothing ever stopped her from loving her family and especially Al James, her Husband, and Von James, her son.
Those two men were her whole world and she would stop everything she was doing for those two. She would always keep a smile on our faces no matter what. Aaron and Havon sure were her "princesses' as she called them. Auston and Anthony were her special little men. She always said those boys will go far, I know it. Her daughter, Edith Ann kept her busy with pageants, dance classes, drill team, and school events. Her family and friends were her happiness.

She was preceded in death by her son, Alvis Von James Jr.,
parents; Leroy Swinford and Edith Ballard, brothers; Aaron Seay Jr.,Vernon and pete Kell, sister; Doris Swinford and Dianna Russell

She is survived by her husband; Alivs Von James Sr, daughter; Edith Ann Gross (Ricky), granddaughter; Michaela Aaron-Alee, grandsons; Auston and Anthony Graham, Lil princess Havon Aaron Marie Graham, bothers; Larry Kell (Trish)and Jeff Swinford, sisters; Brenda Hughes, Beverly Johnson (David), Carla Duncan (Lonnie) and Becky Reed (Steve) She will be missed by a host of nieces nephews family and friends.

Service time for both Barbara and her loving son Von, will be June 27, 2015 at Grace Church in Hensley, Arkansas at 10:30 AM.
