Barbara Faye Johnson, 70, born on Saturday, June 6th, 1953, in San Diego, California gained her wings surrounded by family and friends the morning of Sunday, January 14th, 2024, in Bryant, Arkansas. Her sweet love will always be in our hearts. We all knew that Barb was waiting for the day that the Lord would call her home, and now she is in God's hands with Jonathan and all her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wavelon (Dutch) Yant; stepmom, Lucy; mom, Frances Dickerson; brother, Robert Wayne Yant; stepbrother, Ray Sturgeon; and her son, Jonathan Johnson.

Left here to remember Barbara and celebrate her life are her Uncle Landon and Aunt Rue; countless cousins that loved her: cousin, Mackey Wanda Rice—her best friend and confidant; cousin, Shanna—family who shared a special love; her nieces, Stephanie and Savannah; Michelle and family Ora Lee; especially Bo Wayne, Rick, Mattie, and the entire Riverside family.

Barb also loved her family at Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith and love for God are what she held dear through the end. Barbara asked that we celebrate her life and to know she's where she wanted to be. The family would like to extend thanks for prayers for peace as we move forward without Barb in our lives.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at 5:30 P.M. at Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church in the fellowship hall: 7070 Hwy 5 Benton, Arkansas 72015.
