Barbara Kay (McAllister) Reeves, 51, of Sherwood died peacefully on May 12, 2016 at St. Vincent's Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Barbara was born February 12, 1965, the daughter of Stine, and the late Juanita (Calhoun) McAllister. A lifetime resident of the North Little Rock area, Barbara graduated 1983 from Sylvan Hills High School. She married John R. Reeves, and had two sons, Joshua and Justin. Even after the marriage ended she was still close with her mother-in-law Lillian Reeves, who was by her much of the last few weeks.
Barbara was a member of "That Church" in Sherwood.
Barbara is survived by her father, Stine McAllister, who selflessly cared for her throughout her illness. Other survivors include her son, Joshua and Justin, both of Sherwood, her brother, Jim (Elaine) McAllister of McPherson KS, sisters Kathy (Curt) Walline of McPherson KS, Phyllis (Calvin) Gibson of King George VA, and Sharon Delgado-Gulley of Hot Springs AR. She also had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved and will miss her.
A memorial service will be held on May 23, 2016 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant from 6-8p.m.
