IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara Ann
Wallace
July 24, 1944 – January 24, 2025
Barbara Ann Wallace, 80, of Bryant, Arkansas, was born to the late Altha Mae Peters and William Macon on July 24, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an open heart.
She is now reunited in peace with her beloved husband of 53 years, Louis Alvin Wallace, her grandson, Deshaune Hope, and her sister, Marylyn Scott.
Barbara dedicated over 40 years to working with special-needs adults, a calling that reflected her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to others. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether supporting school and sports fundraisers or assisting loved ones in need
One place where Barbara truly thrived was in the kitchen. She welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and kindness, ensuring no one left without a home-cooked meal. Her pot roast, cornbread, German chocolate cake, and pecan tarts were beloved by family and friends alike. If the way to your heart is through your stomach, Barbara would make you feel like the most loved person in the world.
A talented gardener, Barbara nurtured a beautifully manicured lawn, vibrant flowers, and lush houseplants that brought life to her elegantly decorated home. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with family and indulging in her favorite pastime-trips to the casino.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory four children: Michael Wallace, Valerie Wallace, Lynn Wallace, and Christopher Wallace (Becky); six grandchildren: Jaston (Veronica), Keith, Jasmine, Michaela, Michelle, and C.J.; and eight great grandchildren:
Jaida, Steele, Cru, Troy, Lilliana, Cassius, Tate, and Khalyla. She also is survived by five sisters: Jackie, Evelyn, Kathy, Sandra, and Stephanie; and four brothers: James, Eddie, Larry, and Gary.
Barbara's love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Barbara's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Her visitation will be held the evening prior, Friday, January 31st, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
