Barbara Jean Weida 75 of New Haven passed away on February 16, 2010. She was born on July 17, 1934 to the late Marques James and Dorthea Evans in Cleveland, Ohio. Barbara was very passionate about painting and animals. She loved spending time with her family. Graduated from Indiana University at Fort Wayne and was a member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Ms. Weida worked at New Haven High School for many years and retired from Lincoln Food Service in 1997.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Evans. She is survived by her three daughters, Rhonda Bruick (David), Cynthia Dalrymple (Bryon) and Kristine King (William); ten grandchildren; one brother, Jim Evans (Remy) and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on February 27, 2010 from 11a.m.-1p.m. at Harper's Funeral Home in New Haven, IN with burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
