Barry Leslie Deering, 58, of Little Rock, Arkansas rode through the gates of Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018. He was born to the late Ted and Barbara Deering on Wednesday, May 25th, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio. He loved going to church and his church family. He enjoyed playing guitar and gospel music. He loved riding motorcycles. Barry was the Road Captain for the Rock Riders Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist Association. He would mount up and join anyone else who wanted to go for a ride! He was very family oriented and had one of the most giving hearts that a man could have. He was a very hard worker. He was a Master Plumber for over 30 years, and had an unparalleled work ethic. He loved his animals; they were his family. He was always joyful and laughing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Ann Deering; sons, Brandon Deering of Little Rock and Dakota Rimmer and his wife, Carol and Taylor Rimmer and his wife, Heather, both from Murphysboro, Tennessee; daughters, Devon Carpenter and her husband, Kevin, of Kansas, Paige Kemp and her husband, Greg, of Colorado, and Casey Blunt and her husband, Shaun, of Benton; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Tucker and Kathleen Williams and her husband, George; along with numerous and marvelous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family who love and miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at the Church of the Word on Monday, July 16 th , 2018 at 1:00PM. Danny Draper will be officiating.
