Billy (Bill) Dean Tipton "Boss Man" 71 of Benton, Arkansas passed in him home April 12, 2014. He was born December 11, 1942 in Plunketville, OK to the late C.L. Tipton of Cove, AR and late Josephine Moore Johnson of Arizona. Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Ann Tipton; sister, Phyllis Ann and his beloved grandparents, Mama Beat and Dad Tipton of Cove, AR.

Bill is survived by his two sons, Chawn Tipton and Eric Sibole (Angie Simmons Sibole) of Benton; daughter, Kitrina Sibole Fleeman (Dennis Fleeman) of Benton; brother, Harold Ray Tipton of Haskell; five grandkids, Eric Sibole II, Stephanie Nicole, Cody Sibole, Jacob Cook and Dylan Sibole; one great grandchild, Jayce Bradlee and other extended family.

He served in the Navy and was well known for the years he owned Tipton Roofing in Benton due to his hard work and honesty. Bill enjoyed watching college sports on TV, horse races, car races and being outdoors in his garden or sitting on his swing. All his life he was a hard worker and a mentor. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. Bill had many friends but these were like family; Greg Jinks, Don Bean and the late, David "Sonny" Hicks.
