Billy Joe Shelby went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013, with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Linnie Shelby, and by his brother, Clarence Shelby.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Ann; two sons, Joe "Keith" Shelby (Mary) and Kenneth Alan Shelby (Rhonda); four grandchildren, Deana, Chad, Scott, and Michelle; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Mack) and Catherine; along with a host of family and friends.

Brother Billy Joe Shelby was a servant of God and a man of enduring faith.

Service will be on Saturday, August 31st, 2013, at 1:30 P.M. with his visitation one hour prior to his service at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Star City, Arkansas.
