February 14, 1950 – July 5, 2024
Billy Leon Simpson, 74, of Benton, Arkansas was born to the late, Willie Simpson and Juanita (Birdwell) Simpson, on Tuesday, February 14th, 1950, in Beebe, Arkansas. Those who knew Billy, knew he was an all-around hard working country boy. Providing for his family brought him a great deal of joy. Billy enjoyed being outdoors, watching westerns, working on any truck or car, and loved Cardinal baseball. He also was a proud member of New Life Baptist Church in Salem.
Billy has entered heaven and now is with his wife of 50 years, Nancy Simpson; his parents; grandson, Zachary Corp; two brothers, James and Ronnie Simpson; and all his other family and friends who passed before him.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his son, Michael Leon Simpson; his two daughters, Lisa Finney and her husband, Kevin, and Regina Corp and her husband, Tom; six beautiful grandchildren, Todd, Bethany, L Jay, Thomas, Alyssa, and Tessa; and one great grandson on the way; three brothers, O'Neal, Robert, and Terry Simpson; with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
Billy's celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 15th, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. with a visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home and burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Tom Corp, Thomas Corp, L. Jay Corp, Kevin Finney, D.J. Williams, and Justin Williams.
