IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bobby Ray
Jackson, Jr.
January 24, 1952 – November 2, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Ray Jackson Jr. on November 2, 2024, surrounded by love and remembrance. He now joins his mother, Martha Ann Jackson, father, Bobby Ray Jackson Sr., sister, Elizabeth Anne Jackson, and beloved grandparents in eternal rest.
Affectionately known as "Bob or Ray," he leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Laverne. He had three sons: Bobby Jackson III (Sharon), Chuck Jackson (Melinda), and Steven Eckman (Amber). He will also be greatly missed by his two daughters, Tia Pippen (Josh) and Becky Jackson, along with a cherished group of bonus children: Amber, Annie, Chris, David, Jay, Jessica, Lee, Mary, Misty, and Tara. Bob's family tree flourishes with 22 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many beloved bonus grandchildren, all of whom he adored. He is also survived by his loyal companion, his dog Jack.
Bob graduated high school in 1970 and dedicated his life to service and craftsmanship. A proud member of the Brady Masonic Lodge since 1973, he was a 3rd generation Mason, celebrating over 51 years of commitment to the fraternity. Bob furthered his education at Pulaski Tech, earning certification as a master electrician and HVAC technician.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bob found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved good food, hearty laughter, and the company of good friends. Whether playing games, watching classic westerns, or enjoying the soothing taste of SWEET tea, he cherished the moments spent with family and friends. Bob had a special fondness for eagles and white buffalos, symbols of strength and freedom that mirrored his own spirit.
As we celebrate a well-lived life, Bob's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he touched many lives with his humor and unwavering support. Bobby Ray Jackson Jr. will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Bob. Your legacy will live on in our hearts, and your spirit will soar as high as the eagles you so deeply admired.
