Obituary

Bobby L. Mathis (Arey), 45, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 5, 2018. He was born April 3, 1973, to Linda Bearden Green and Bobby G. Mathis, Sr. in Conway, Arkansas. He enjoyed computer repair, and tinkering with any and all electronics.  He had a knack for being able to fix anything and make it better.  He was compassionate, and would help anyone who asked no matter the need.  He loved his wife, Kim Ramsey Mathis, dearly. He loved to garden, and play in his yard improving anything and everything he could think of.  He had a quirky sense of humor and a different perspective on life.  He always knew how to make anyone laugh.

He attended college at Ouachita Technical College in Malvern, Arkansas.  He graduated with an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering.  He was self-employed as a computer repair technician with A+ certification.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby G. Mathis, Sr., his brother, Bobby G. Mathis, Jr. grandparents Polly & Henry E. Bearden, and Fred & Hazel Mathis, & Albert & Lorene Arey.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Ramsey Mathis, their cats Jade & Molly, his mother, Linda Bearden Green, his uncle Jimmy Bearden & his cousin Randy Bearden (all of Benton), his uncle Tom Mathis (Vilonia), his aunts Doris Wooley (Jacksonville), Kathy Smith & Peggy Mathis (both of Mayflower).

There will be a private graveside service for his closest family & friends at Summit Cemetery on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 1:00 pm.  His wife would like to thank their family and friends for the support that has been given.
