Brenda Diane Pierce, age 71 of Haskell, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 while surrounded by family. She was born on May 16, 1946 in Benton, Arkansas to the late, Buster and Mary Johnson. Brenda was a strong woman who spent her life devoted to her family. She was a rock for her children, grandchildren and siblings. Brenda and her partner, Acie, enjoyed camping and spent many hours visiting with family and friends along the shore of Lake Catherine. Brenda's love, life and laughter will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer Pierce Jr.; and her brother, Bill Johnson.
She is survived by her partner of 22 years, Acie Blair, his children and grandchildren; sons, Jeff Pierce and Wayne Pierce; daughter, Shannon Blair; brother, Jim (Debbie) Johnson; sisters, Carolyn (David) Spears, Sherry Johnson and Vicky Johnson; grandchildren, Joshua Pierce, Courtney Gallo, Alex Pierce, Amber Blair, Jamie Pierce, and Faith Pierce; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who all adored her. Brenda will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
