Buford Harrell
Boggs, Jr.
April 4, 1954 – October 26, 2024
Buford Harrell Boggs, Jr. was born on Sunday, April 4th, 1954, to Buford Harrell Boggs Sr. and Dorothy Iona Boggs. A 1972 graduate of Benton High School, Buford was a retired machinist at Union Pacific Railroad and was a skilled boat engineer mechanic. He was a member of ABATE and the Christian Motorcyclist Association – Rock Riders of Arkansas. For years he acted as a guard in The Witness in Hot Springs. Buford's hobbies were fishing, camping on Lake Ouachita and building model airplanes. He met his childhood friend, Emily, in 1962 and married in 1988 sharing 36 wonderful years together.
Buford is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Madison Nicole Bailey, and four beloved fur babies: Brittany, Jazzy, Sissy and Princess.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Davis Boggs; daughter, Tonya Bailey (Chris); grandson, Austin Bailey; sisters, Edith Yates (Kenneth) and Rochenia "Lucky" Turney (Sam); nephew, Kelly Bates; and a host of family and numerous friends.
He enjoyed going out to eat with his friend, Danny Goodwin, and solving the world's problems with his neighbors James and Jim.
A celebration of life will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas on Friday, November 1st, 2024, at 11 a.m. We would like to invite all bikers to ride and wear colors.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and CHI SVI ICU staff for their amazing care.
