Carol Jean Smith, 72, of Mabelvale, Arkansas was born to the late Lowell Donald Trudgian and Dorothy May (Port) Trudgian, on Wednesday, October 15th, 1952, in Roseland, Illinois. She passed away on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, surrounded by love. Carol was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother who loved fishing and being outdoors. Above all else, she loved her family with her whole heart and loved spending time with them, especially all of her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 50 beautiful years, Jimmy Don Smith; her daughter, Dori Jean Lyman (Rodney) of Haskell; two grandchildren, Courtney Lyman of Haskell and Jonathan Lyman (Kristen) of Magnet Cove; six great grandchildren, Aydien, Addyson, Kynlee, Kayson, Sydney, and Sutton; one sister, Sherry Jones (Dennis) of Illinois; along with a host of nieces, other relatives, and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.

Her celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. with her visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
