Carol Lee Ussery 69 of Alexander passed away on October 30, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on September 9, 1946 to the late, Bill and Ada Lee West Taylor. Carol loved to fish and spending time with her family. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church where she loved helping with the children and taking trips with the ladies auxiliary. Carol had a very loving spirit and was always able to find the good in everyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Gwen Alexander.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Dan Ussery; children, Derrick Alexander and Tauny Chaffin (Dwayne); step sons, Dan H. Ussery Jr. and Tommy Lee Ussery; grandchildren, Destiny, Johnathen, Benjamin, Staci, Josh and Quentin; one great grandchild, Ethan; sisters, Lavuren Dunkin, Shirley Rogers and Linda Poe; two brothers, James David Mitchell and Rickey Taylor and a host of family and friends who all loved her and miss her very much.
