Carol Ann Vandegrift Holland 69 of Benton passed away on May 12, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born on July 27, 1942 to the late, Thomas " Pappy" and Mary "Floogie" Vandegrift in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carol fought a very brave and courageous battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Thomas Holland.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Annette and Neal Williams, Anita and Rusty Sturch, Billy and Patti Holland and Tony and Jennifer Holland; former husband and friend, Bill Holland; sisters and brother-in-laws, Lynn and Jerry Hutto, Joyce and Danny Smith and Betty and John Webb; one brother, Richard (Dickey) Vandegrift and wife Mae; grandchildren, Brad and Drew Wiedower, Justin Sturch, Bill, Bethany, Brittni, Bailey and Brooks Holland; four precious great grandchildren, Adrianna and Gavin Wiedower, Kaylyn and Jax Sturch and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
