Obituary

Carolyn Sue Rauch was born to George and Myrtle (Parr) Kizzere, on Sunday, September 8th, 1946, in De Valls Bluff, Arkansas, and left this world a very loved woman on Saturday, March 1st, 225, surrounded by love. She was the baby out of five sisters and one brother, which molded her into becoming the strong loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend she became. She had one biological son, John Alexander Rauch III, who was the center of her world and loved more than life itself. John Andrew Rauch III and Michelle Short blessed Carolyn with two granddaughters, Samantha Rauch-Webb and Mercedies Rauch. She was the most patient, wise, and loving grandma who was always one call away.

Christmas was such a magical time for Carolyn; it was her favorite holiday. She loved the way her home smelled like fresh baked cookies and Christmas after hours of baking, storytelling, and laughing with her family. Overall, she loved being in the kitchen, whether it was cooking, baking, prepping meals, or simply sitting at the kitchen table sharing stories with her family. Her stories were always filled with excitement and joy.

Carolyn enjoyed many other activities, such as fishing and cruising around town with her son; really anything as long as she was with her family! Her family was her whole world.

Samantha and Travis Webb blessed her with two great grandsons, Boone and Onyxx Webb, that she loved dearly and always wanted to play with them and make those precious memories.

Carolyn is finally with the love of her life, Virgil Williams, and Jesus! She is also preceded in death by her former husband of 18 years, John Rauch, Jr.; great grandson, Kenneth Oxford, Jr.; three brothers and four sisters; and her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving son, John Alexander Rauch III (Martha Higgins); bonus daughter, Michelle Short (Edward Short); grandchildren, Samantha Webb (Travis), Mercedies Rauch, and Dakota Short; great grandchildren, Boone Webb and Onyxx Webb; one sister, Mary; nieces, Tammey Buell-Kannada, Early Trimble, and Annette English; along with many other family and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly!

Her celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Carolyn Rauch to John Rauch III, Samantha Webb, Mercedies Rauch, and Michelle Short.

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
