On March 23, 2026, Carolyn L. Whitaker of Sardis went to be with the Lord. She was born on Saturday, October 9, 1954, in Plymouth, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Retha and Atkins Crisler, and her brother, Darryl Crisler. Carolyn’s memory lives on through her two daughters, Christy Clem and Kimberly Lane, who carry forward her legacy. She was also blessed with four wonderful grandchildren—Mallerie, Alex, Zoey, and Axel—and three cherished great-grandchildren, Preston, Sammy-Jo, and Bellamy.
