Charlie Mae Red 69, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2010. Charlie Mae was born on September 14, 1940 to the late Joseph Franklin and Claudia Mae Thomas in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Red was a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene for over 15 years. She loved spending time planting flowers and going dancing with her husband. Her most cherished memories were spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joseph F. Thomas and her sister, Catherine Armstrong. Mrs. Red is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edward Eugene Red; two daughters, Robin Phillips and Shannen L. Red; two sons, Terry L. Red and Ricky Red; her sister, Nancy Kennemore; two grandsons, Michael Allen Beatty and Shane Harley Essary JR.; granddaughter, Phoebe Selena Cheyenne Red; niece, Georgia Place and several other nieces, nephews and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2010 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
