Charlie L. Whitt 74 of Benton passed away on June 12, 2012. Charlie was born on July 9, 1937 to David and Betsy Whitt in Roland, Arkansas. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Charlie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margie Whitt and his parents.
Mr. Whitt is survived by his loving daughters, Cindy Campbell (Gaylon), Anita Davenport (Ernie), Sheila Rummel (David), Susan Lee (Brian), Belinda Colby (Stephen) and Mary Ann Holcomb and one son Charlie "Buster" Whitt (Teresa); fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Friday 5 pm – 7 pm at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Graveside service will be Saturday 10 am at Redfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gaylon Campbell, Ernie Davenport, David Rummel, Stephen Colby, Brian Lee, Matt Miller, Dave Rummel, Jeffrey Tillery and Andy Kitchens.
