Chris Dell, 55, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on January 21, 2014. He was born on December 20, 1958 to Lena Dell-Vines and the late Wenston Dell in Freeport, Illinois. Chris served in ministry at Lafayette Church of Christ, St. Louis, Missouri, for more than 20 years working as a youth minister, song leader, and small group coordinator. Chris loved to sing, go on walks, play games and plan special times with family. He was a strong father; husband, brother, son, and friend.
Chris is preceded in death by his wife, Vicki and his father, Wenston, in-laws, Victor, Wanda and Colleen Durrington.
He is survived by his two daughters, Carissa Casey (Chris) and Mallory Easter (James); one son, Harrison Dell (Kelly); mother, Lena Dell-Vines; one brother, Brad Dell (Mary Lee); two sisters, Carolyn Walters and Susan Seurer; one grandchild, Elsa Casey; and many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends who all loved and admired him deeply.
There will be no visitation in light of Chris's wish to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at East Sunshine Church of Christ in Springfield, Missouri.
