IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christina "Tina"
Gail Minden
July 11, 1967 – July 18, 2020
Christina "Tina" Gail Minden, age 53, died on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Tina is survived by her husband, Bruno Beqiri, step-children, Adrian, Isabella, and Nick
Beqiri and Florina (Rey) Perales, step-grandchildren, Gia and Valentino Perales, mother Judy Minden Houston, sister Sharon (Michael) Dixon, brother Carl (Angela) Minden, step-brother Marty (Paula) Houston, nieces Emma and Aslyn Minden, Michaela Dixon, and Holly (Joe) Martinazzi, nephews Mason Minden and Garrett Houston, fur-babies Kaos and Karma, "little sisters" Anneke Bollman and Megan (Jarrod) Toland, and many aunts/uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Minden, and step-father, Dutch Houston.
Tina was born on April 11, 1967 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to parents Herman Minden and Judy (Kilpatrick) Minden Houston. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1985. She attended the University of the Ozarks for pre-pharmacy. Tina graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy in 1990. She obtained her Pharm.D. and completed a residency in geropsych. Tina worked as a clinical pharmacist at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Tina and Bruno owned and operated Dolce Vita Italian Ristorante in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Tina served on the committee for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Board and contributed to the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX). Tina was awarded numerous awards throughout her educational and professional years. Tina was a past officer for the Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists and she was a preceptor for the UAMS College of Pharmacy. She volunteered at the Harmony Health Clinic. Tina was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Little Rock and frequently attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Hot Springs Village.
Tina loved her profession and co-workers and she considered it an honor to serve our veterans. Tina spent the majority of her evenings with Bruno at their restaurant and she came to love their patrons, many who became part of her extended "Italian" family. Tina was best known for her love, kindness, and generosity to family, friends, and strangers. Tina was willing to share her immense knowledge about healthcare and medications, frequently answering questions from family and friends. Tina was a beloved wife, step-mom, grammy, daughter, sister, niece, and cousin and words cannot express how much she was adored by her family. She was a devoted aunt who made each niece and nephew feel as if they were her favorite. Tina enjoyed scuba diving and was proud of earning her scuba diving certifications. Tina had a love of travel and often included family members on her excursions, but nothing pleased her more than to curl up in her big chair with a lapful of puppies. Tina's infectious smile and twinkling eyes and warm loving presence will be missed beyond measure.
Arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas Facebook page by voting for Kaos and Karma to appear in the 2021 CSRET calendar
