Obituary

Claudia M. Hopper passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at age 95. She was a long-time Little Rock resident. Claudia retired as receptionist and switchboard operator at KARK Channel 4 in Little Rock. Claudia was blessed with a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; four brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Hopper is survived by her only child John Hopper (Carol) of Bryant; two granddaughters, Laura Hopper of Conway and Paula Kolstad (Dr. Michael) of Nixa, MO., their two children, Madison and Chase; two favorite nieces, Bobbie Treece of Heber Springs and Marilyn Welch (Harvey) of Salem, South Carolina. Claudia was also considered grandma to her extended family. And last, but not least, the family would like to express appreciation to the staff and employees of Heartland ReHab for their untiring love, patience and excellent care as her health failed. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Graveside service will be Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM at National Cemetery in Little Rock. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Alzheimers Research or the Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund in Benton.
