Dana Ellison, age 69, of Roland, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2009.

Mrs. Ellison was born on March 24, 1939 to the late Homer and Mattie Clark in Scott, Arkansas. Dana loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and singing. She was a member of Christ Church for 33 years. Dana was an employee of Baptist Medical Center for over 20 years.

Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Goodman; her son, Craig DePriest; grandson, Darren DePriest and three sisters, Jena Williams, Rella Clark and Mary Whitehurst. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Buddy Ellison; two sons, Mike and Doug (Nikki) DePriest; three step sons, Kevin, Dewayne and Allen Ellison; one step daughter, Rita Walden; thirteen grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Yarberry and one brother, Jackie Clark and several nieces, nephews and church family who will all miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant 501-847-9099. A celebration of Dana's life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor George Dudley officating.
