Darla Christine Swegheimer of Benton passed away on November 24, 2010. She was born on June 28, 1940 to the late Dale and Vera Newby in Martinez, California. After working in real estate for 30 years she retired in 2006 and moved to Arkansas from California along with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill Newby and infant Dale Newby.

Darla is survived by her loving husband of thirteen years, Frank Swegheimer; three daughters, Cheryl Willey (Kurt), Debbie Henninger (Brian), and Cindy Johnson (Russ); one son, James Reinhard (Donna); stepdaughter, Rachel Garman; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren with two more on the way. Darla is also survived by three brothers; Chris (Angie), Mike (Jackie), and Deems (Vickie).

Darla was a true animal lover. She loved all of her dogs and cats but had a special attachment with her favorite cat, Sweet Pea.

Darla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Otter Creek. A memorial service will be held at that location on Saturday, December the fourth, at 4:00pm.
