Darlene Mae Tilton, age 82 of Alexander, passed from this life, with her family by her side on June 28, 2015.
Mrs. Tilton was born on August 3, 1932 in Grand Marais, Minnesota to her parents, Clyde and Ruby DuBois.
She loved watching birds, of whom she fed continuously, and was an avid crossword puzzle fan. She also loved baking for other people and getting together for family gatherings, especially her children's birthday party's and spending time with her grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her six wonderful daughters; Sharon Hamilton of Benton, Janet Foreman and her husband, Larry of Benton, Patti Mosley and her husband, Kurt of Alexander, Jody Abercrombie and her husband, Karl of Copperas Cove, Texas, Julie Hamilton and her husband, Mike of Alexander and Denise Easterly and her husband, Scotty of Bauxite. She is also survived by her son, Paul Tilton of Alexander, along with twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and her two brothers Jim and Jerry DuBois.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hubert Tilton, along with one brother and one sister.
A private family memorial service will be held for Mrs. Tilton at a later date.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Saline Memorial Hospice or the Humane Society of choice.
