David Anthony, age 72, passed away on May 9, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School in 1973. Known for his strong work ethic and dependability, he spent many years working hard and was always early to work. He later retired from 3M Corporation, where his last position involved operating a rock crusher.

David enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved fishing, playing cards and dominoes with friends, watching movies, and snacking on chips with cheese dip.

In his final days, David came to know Jesus, bringing comfort and peace to both him and his family, knowing he is reunited with his mom and dad.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Raymond Anthony, and his mother, Mary Elizabeth Gray Anthony.

David is survived by his brother, Kenneth Ray Anthony (Jeannie) of Bryant, Arkansas; his sister, Dana Elizabeth McCLellan (James) of Cabot, Arkansas; along with 9 nieces and 4 nephews who will cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 11300 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:00 with visitation beginning one hour prior.
