Canterberry
December 13, 1935 – April 9, 2021
David Leon Canterberry 85 of Mabelvale went to be with the lord on April 9, 2021. He was a great guy and loved his family dearly, one of his favorite things was to get together with them and go to Branson every year at least for a few days. He had three different retirements, 21 years with Champion International as a general foreman ran a car lot for a few years before buying a service station and muffler shop, had a great business there for about six years, then went to real estate, sold cars again for a few years, made salesman of the year. After that he went into a partnership for a wholesale lot, finally he did retire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oder and Bedie Canterberry and one sister Wanda Sims.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years Patsy "Vaughan" Canterberry and three sons, Michael David, Stephen Mark and Joel Lynn Canterberry, two sisters Clara Mae Novick "Loren", Brenda Todd "Stan" and three brothers, Billy Ray "Barbara", Charles "Rose Marie" and Carroll "Brenda" and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who loved him very much, he will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke. To sign online guestbook visit www.dialanddudleyfuneralhome.com.
