David L. Graves, age 67 of Alexander, passed from this life on June 2, 2011 in Little Rock.
Mr. Graves was born in El Dorado, Kansas on April 26, 1944 to the late Wilbur and Evelyn Graves. He was retired, as a Master Sergeant, from the Air Force after 21 years. Through his military career he also volunteered as a Boy Scout leader. After retiring from the military he became a broadcast engineer, where he became known as"Doctor Dave", because he could fix anything. He was a very patriotic man who was proud to have served his country. He also loved camping and had a passion for trains.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife of 16 years, Nancy, along with his sons; Charles, David Jr. and Sean Graves; one daughter, Amiee Kelley and two brothers; James and Kevin Graves, both of Kansas.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in the chapel of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will take place at noon at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock with full military honors.
