David W. Hill, age 51, of Benton passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009.

David was born in Rockford, Illinois on March 11, 1958, to his parents John W. Hill, Jr. and Shirley Conoway. He always lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of his life until he suffered a severe head injury, at age 24, during a snowmobile accident.

Mr. Hill is survived by his mother, Shirley Vanman and her husband Bo of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. His father, John Hill, Jr. and wife Cheryll of Rockford, Illinois and his sister, Kathy Chavez and husband Luis of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by three brothers; Mike Hill and wife Karen of Wales, Wisconsin, Patrick Hill and wife, Gail of Roscoe, Illinois and Tim Hill and wife, Brenda of Machesney Park, Illinois and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents.

A celebration of David's life will be held at a later date in Rockford Illinois.
