Dean Allen Lillie age 63 entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2012 with his loving and devoted family by his side. Dean was born on June 11, 1949 to Truman and Dorothy Lillie in Corry, Pennsylvania. Dean was a resident of Benton but formerly lived in New Orleans for over 30 years. Dean was a loving and devoted husband, father and "Paw Paw". His family was his heart and soul and the joy of his life. He had a passion for hunting with his sons and grandsons. Dean was a systems engineer for over 33 years with Entergy/SAIC.
He is preceded in death by his father, Col. Truman Lillie and his father-in-law, John "Pa John" Reeves.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol Lillie; daughters, Renee Lillie and Susan Alvarez; sons, Michael Dean Lillie (Brooke) and Chad Andrew Lillie; grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Elise and Ian Alvarez and Todd Michael and Olivia Lillie. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Lillie; mother-in-law, Dorothy Reeves; one brother, Dale Lillie; brothers-in-law, Bill (Marcia), Don (Denise); sister-in-law, Linda Jonis (Dave); step mother, Joeann Lillie; step brother, Roger Sterling and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
