Obituary

Deborah Lynn (Medlin) Hawley 55 of Benton passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009. She was born on October 4, 1953 to the late James and Marie Medlin in Little Rock, Arkansas. Deborah loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with her family. She was very proud of her Native American heritage; she enjoyed going to Pow Wow's and collecting Native American memorabilia. Deborah was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church for many years. She was employed at Good Shepard Nursing Home in Little Rock.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bill Hawley; two sisters, Angela Strand and Lois Richardson; one brother Ronnie Medlin. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and church family who all loved her and will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant, 501-847-9099. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Brother Ricky Tipton will be officiating the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
