Dee Hurst 83 of Traskwood passed away June 1, 2016 with his family by his side. Dee worked at Producers Cotton Oil at the age 16 and retired at the age of 62.
Loved his grandchildren more than anything in this world. He loved some old country and western music. Enjoyed working in the garden and had a heart of gold. He never turned anyone away. And most of all he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elanore and Marvin Hurst; three sons, Danny, Denny, and Robert; one sister, Dot Womack and one nephew, Wayne Dennis.

Survived by his loving wife, Dovie Hurst; brother, Bill; sister, Betty; five sons, Ronnie, Brian, Stevie, Johnny, and Jimmy; one daughter, Debra; twenty three grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his closest friend, Kenneth Landreth.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant at 3:00 PM.
