IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dennis Warren
Clark
April 6, 1941 – June 17, 2019
Dennis Warren Clark joined his Angel in Heaven on June 17, 2019.
He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 6, 1941 and grew up in White Hall, Arkansas. Dennis married the love of his life, Patsy Carol Witherington, on September 7, 1968 at Central Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Dennis was always full of ambition, determination and only expected perfection from himself, not to mention his children, and often hit that mark. He was the first in his family to attend college receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Southern Arkansas University and ultimately obtaining a Master's Degree in History from the University of Oklahoma, after having retired as a Major in the United States Air Force. He then went on to work for the State of Arkansas. He took great pride in his successful military career and his accomplishments, and only greater pride in his family.
Dennis and Patsy had a son, David Warren Clark, born in Bismark, North Dakota and a daughter Stacy Anise Bouchard-Hall (Clark), born in Lisbon, Portugal. The family traveled and lived throughout the United States and the world, with their crowning last adventure being a long-anticipated trip back to Portugal and Spain with their children in 2015. Dennis was a smart man, a fierce protector of his wife and children, an avid reader and loved to play Bridge. His relationship with his childhood friends was important to him and he continued to help organize and attend annual high school reunions until just before his death.
Dennis is survived by his son, David of Little Rock and daughter, Stacy and her husband Robert Bouchard-Hall of New York, his nephew Roy and his wife Ruby Clark and his nephew Charles and his wife Judy Francis, both of Grant County, his niece Barbara and her husband Ray Stover of New Jersey and his brother Orville Clark and his wife Nena. He was predeceased by his mother Ethel Clark (Bartlett) and father Charles A. Clark and his mother Ann Francis (Clark).
Arrangements are entrusted to Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, Bryant, Arkansas. Memorials may be made in his name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.
