Obituary

Densel W. Dyer 81 of Benton passed away on July 10, 2011 with his family by his side. Densel was born on July 28, 1929 to the late, Charles and Maude Dyer in Little Rock, Arkansas. He retired from Alcoa after 33 years and was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church for 58 years; he was a member of the Kate Wright Sunday School Class. Densel was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved wood carving, fishing and hunting. Being with his family was his most treasured times.
Densel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Dyer; two sons, Denny Dyer (Pat) and Bo Dyer (Linda); seven grandchildren, Greg Dyer (Shelly), Carlena Heath (Chris), Chris Dyer (Tausha), Niki Mathews (Steven), Dustin Dyer (Ashley), Kyle Dyer and Charlie Dyer; eleven great grandchildren, Alix, Dalton, Kayla, Johnathan, Cole, Carley, Daniel, Lane, Austin, Jared and Gwenna; one sister, Billie Jo Little (John) and a host of family, church family and friends that all loved and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Densel's life will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton with Pastor Richard Hamlin and Muncy Harris officiating.
