Obituary
Dewain Merryman, age 78, of Alexander died February 24, 2009 at his home.
Dewain was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time with his family.
Dewain was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mamie Harris Merryman and a sister, Lula Mae McElyea.
He is survived by five daughters, Sherry Epperson, Sharon Connelly, Debra Mitchell and her husband Allen, Linda Mizda and her husband David and Gayla Jewell; one son, Robert Merryman and his wife Connie; fourteen grandchildren and 6 great grand children; He is also survived by his sisters; Ruby Harrison and Faye Hermes and a brother, J.E. Merryman
A visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM Thursday at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5N in Bryant.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Friday February 27, 2009 in the chapel of Dial and Dudley Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Whitley officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
