Obituary

Diane F. Wilcox, 77, of Little Rock, completed her earthly assignment and transitioned into glory with her Lord, Christ Jesus on July 19, 2015, after a brief battle with metastatic lung cancer. She was born January 16th, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA, to the late John E. Richards and Thelma R. Smith. Arriving from Los Angeles, CA in 1974, Mrs. Wilcox "pitched her tent" in Southwest Little Rock, where she remained rooted her entire life. Employed in ministry and the housekeeping industry, Diane dedicated her life to service, always sacrificing for others, and willing to be where she was needed at any given time. She was never afraid to witness and share her testimony of trial and triumph, always staying true to her Lord, Christ Jesus and the calling placed upon her life. She was member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God. Although somewhat shy, Diane was also an avid musician, playing both the bass guitar and piano. In 2005, she co-founded and launched World Evangelism Outreach Ministry, a 501c3 Non-Profit, as a home-base for her work in ministry. Mrs. Wilcox had an enormous, unwavering desire to see lives changed for good, impacting many with a classic testament of hope and deliverance. Diane is preceded in death by sons Michael E. Lawler of Los Angeles, Daniel R. Rivera of Redfield, and one daughter, Denise L. Winbury of Bryant. She is survived by her husband, W. Joel Love; 3 daughters, Debra L. Kuske, of Bryant, Linda L. Parker of Siloam Springs, Julie A. Barton of Bryant, and a generation of great-grandchildren, grand-children, nieces and nephews. In accordance with her final wishes, a brief gravesite memorial will be held at Rest Hills / Memorial Park in Sherwood on Wednesday, July 29,2015 at 10:30 AM. the Rev. Gregory E. Crumley officiating.
