Dixie Bowden, 73, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1949, to the late Bud and Ima Jean Thompson, in Warren, Arkansas. Dixie enjoyed reading, everything to do with crafts, and her dog, Luigi. She was Pentecostal in faith and loved the Lord with her whole heart.

Dixie is preceded in death by her parents; son David Hardin; brother, Donnie Ray Thompson; and two sisters, Dorothy Hawkins and Wanda Hudson.

She is survived by her husband, Jake "Skip" Bowden; her son, Tommy Hardin; three grandchildren, Austin, Dustin, and Kaitlyn; sister, Teresa Pool (Monte); three nieces, Heather Graves (Joshua), Erika, and Chasity; seven great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Landon, Bella, Kellie, Xander, Dallas, and Mackenzey; and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
