Obituary

Dollie B. Barnard was a woman of adventure, love, and deep devotion to family. She passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by the legacy of a life well lived and hearts forever changed by her presence.

She was born on January 27, 1935, in Moro, Arkansas, to the late Lee and Allie Gray.

From the beginning, Dollie carried a spirit of warmth and curiosity that stayed with her throughout her life.

She loved to shop, travel, and explore new places, embracing life with a truly adventurous spirit. Dollie was deeply rooted in her faith in Christ and was a long-time member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church.

During the years her husband was alive, she especially cherished camping trips to Millwood and Heber Springs making great memories with family and friends. Those moments were filled with laughter, stories, and togetherness that she held close to her heart.

Above all else, Dollie loved spending time with her family. She was an avid Razorback fan and rarely missed the chance to cheer or fuss on her team. She also treasured game nights with her Sunday school class and many other friends that she treasured where her warmth, kindness, and joy made her not only a dear friend but a true companion to all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Bubba" Richard Barnard; her parents, Lee Gray and Allie Shelby; and her siblings Mary Anthony, Leo, Cecil, Buddy, and Charlie Gray.

She is survived by her children, Charles "Chuck" Barnard Jr. and wife Jackie, Tracy Oxner and husband Charles, and Kristin Anderson and husband Jon.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle, Michael, Skyler Barnard, Taylor (Barnard) Beckett, John and Drew Oxner, Shelby Cone, Alyssa Miller, and Allie Anderson, along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren whom she adored.

She is survived by her sister, Vicki (Gray) Smith and husband Tim; sisters in law Faydene Gray and Pat Stewart; brother-in-law Steve Barnard and wife Sherri; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

Dollie's life was a testament to love, faith, and the importance of family. She will be remembered for her adventurous heart, her laughter, and the unwavering love she gave to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
