Don 'Ernest T' Daniel 62 of Sherwood, AR, formerly of Clines Corner, NM, passed February 19, 2010. He was born May 6, 1947 in Monticello, AR to the late Fred Lawrence and Alice Lorraine Daniel. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a country music performer. For the better part of his life, he was a truck driver and passionately loved the open road and the western areas of the country. Don never meet a stranger, he was loved by many. Not a kinder soul walked the earth and he will live on in our hearts. Go with God, my friend.
Mr. Daniel is survived by girlfriend; Virginia Surrena; her mother June and her brother Michael; stepchildren from a later marriage; Annette and John Kovalcheck, Renee and John Myers, Brandy and Jason McDaniel, Jack Netzley III, Heath Netzley; and his pride and joy were his grandchildren; Ashley and Dylan Kovalcheck, several close friends; Tammy Tuck, David Tuck, Charlie Parker, Johnny Williams, Sidney Bessent, Troy, Shirley and Wade Steele, Jean Weatherly, Nick and Sylvia Panagoulakos, Lynnda and Tom Oliveira, Kelly Carson, Ed and Shirley Morris, Terri England and Ben and Edith Georgelis. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home with Pastor George Dudley officiating.
